Pascal’s lighting presents ambient dualities. Revealing two personalities – solid and shapely when unlit, they adopt a luminous richness when powered. Light sparkles through openings highlighting texture and shadows dance off bead-like details, adorning and transforming space. Pascal dyes his slivers of polycarbonate in the studio, devising an extensive myriad of hand-dyed hues – an artists’ palette to create mood and atmosphere.
